All camps are designed for students entering grades 4 - 7.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Summer 2017 schedule TBD
Come explore math in motion! Spend the week as an engineer, building and testing machines that move. Apply scientific properties and mathematical skills while engaging in interesting engineering projects, challenges, and activities that integrate S.T.E.A.M. skills in math, reasoning, problem solving, and design. Projects include building rockets, small-scale flying machines, sail-cars, boats, and more.
Summer 2017 schedule TBD
Investigate, design, and build all kinds of structures in this compelling "construction" camp. Campers experiment with engineering principles and build on mathematical concepts in a variety of hands-on activities that integrate S.T.E.A.M. skills in math, reasoning, problem-solving, and design. Apply architectural ideas to building towers, skyscrapers, bridges, and catapults.
Summer 2017 schedule TBD
Create magnificent masterpieces in this hands-on art camp. Discover how math connects beautifully to art and the world around us. Math-based principles of proportion, perspective, pattern, shape, and line are brought to light in a variety of fun and creative art projects, including geometric designs, tessellations, kaleidoscopes, and 3D paper creations.

"The United States has developed as a global leader, in large part, through the genius and hard work of its scientists, engineers, and innovators. In a world that’s becoming increasingly complex, where success is driven not only by what you know, but by what you can do with what you know, it’s more important than ever for our youth to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. These are the types of skills that students learn by studying science, technology, engineering, [art,] and math—subjects collectively known as STEAM."--US Dept of Education
