SMARTER BALANCED TEST PREP

The new Smarter Balanced Assessments are aligned with Common Core math standards and practices, and demand a deep level of thinking, conceptual understanding, and problem solving.

Learn how to navigate the format of these computer-adaptive tests, explore new and different item types used on the assessment, and practice sample questions for your grade level.

Students are placed in a small group of middle or high school students that meets for 1½ hours each week for 6 weeks prior to spring testing.
