Middle school Boot Camps review and strengthen important skills and concepts to make sure students are ready for the fall. High school Intro classes preview the math students will learn at the beginning of the school year.
Students build confidence and sharpen their math skills while having fun with math.
All Summer Math Academy classes are virtual.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOOT CAMPS
6th Grade boot camp
For incoming 6th graders entering 6th grade math.
Students entering middle school need a deep understanding of 5th grade math skills and concepts to be prepared for 6th grade math. Build mastery of foundational 5th grade skills and reinforce conceptual understanding to be ready for the new demands of middle school math.
Monday through Thursday for two weeks
(eight 90-minute virtual sessions)

COMPACTED 7/8 boot camp
For incoming 6th and 7th graders entering Compacted 7/8 (or 7th grade math).
Students entering Compacted 7/8 need a solid command of 6th grade math, with procedural fluency as well as the ability to apply concepts to problem solving. Build mastery of foundational 6th grade skills and concepts to be prepared to handle the pace and rigor of a compacted curriculum.

COMPACTED 8/ALGEBRA 1 BOOT CAMP
For incoming 7th and 8th graders entering Compacted 8/Algebra 1 (or 8th grade math).
Compacted 8/Algebra 1 requires deep mastery of 7th grade math concepts. Students need fluency with skills as well as the ability to apply conceptual understanding to real world problems. Be prepared to handle the pace and rigor of a compacted high school curriculum by strengthening mastery of 7th grade skills and concepts.
